Marketing is More than Messaging

A lot of people can get distracted by marketing. If you think "How do I catch people?" is the most important question, you need to listen to this.

A lot of businesses in Australia, established or new, quite often don’t have a repeatable way to generate leads. When you look at generating leads or generating enquiries, what that is, essentially, is marketing. Now, people can get pretty distracted with marketing. There's so many different things, letter drops, the whole enigma that is social media, different algorithms, Ad Words, you name it.

But at the end of the day, all marketing really is, is the ability to build trust with your marketplace, with your potential buyers and help them know you, help them understand you, and see what it is that you can support them with. So much so that they hit a flash point of trust, a moment or level of trust that they're inspired to contact you.

So, rather than trying to figure out, "How do I catch people?", the question you need to answer is, "How do I help more people know me and more importantly, trust me?" And when you take your marketing from that angle, you'll find that not only do you start to get repeatable work, repeatable business, if you structure systems around it, you actually know how much money and what you need to do--how much money you need to spend and what you need to do to generate repeatable leads.
